Bertazzoni Dishwasher Major Issues

Water Remains in the Bertazzoni Dishwasher

If you’re seeing water remaining in your Bertazzoni dishwasher after a cycle, there are a few possible causes. Here are some troubleshooting tips to help you identify the problem and fix it:

Check the water inlet valve.

The water inlet valve is responsible for supplying water to the dishwasher. If the valve is not working properly, the dishwasher may not fill with water, or it may fill with water but not drain properly. To check the water inlet valve, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher.
  2. Remove the kick plate from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  3. Locate the water inlet valve.
  4. Check the valve for any leaks or obstructions.

If you find any leaks or obstructions, repair or replace the valve as needed.

Check the drain pump.

The drain pump is responsible for draining water from the dishwasher. If the pump is not working properly, the dishwasher may not drain properly, or it may overflow. To check the drain pump, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the kick plate from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  2. Locate the drain pump.
  3. Check the pump for any leaks or obstructions.

If you find any leaks or obstructions, repair or replace the pump as needed.

Check the drain hose.

The drain hose is responsible for carrying water from the dishwasher to the drain. If the hose is clogged, the dishwasher may not drain properly. To check the drain hose, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the kick plate from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  2. Locate the drain hose.
  3. Check the hose for any kinks or obstructions.

If you find any kinks or obstructions, straighten or clear the hose as needed.

Check the filter.

The filter is responsible for catching food particles and other debris from the water before it enters the dishwasher. If the filter is clogged, the dishwasher may not clean properly. To check the filter, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the lower rack from the dishwasher.
  2. Locate the filter.
  3. Remove the filter.
  4. Rinse the filter under running water.
  5. Reinstall the filter.

If you’ve checked all of these things and water is still remaining in your dishwasher, it’s possible that the problem is with the control board. The control board is responsible for controlling the various functions of the dishwasher. If the control board is not working properly, it may not be able to properly complete the cycle. In this case, you’ll need to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

By following these troubleshooting tips, you should be able to identify the cause of the problem and fix it yourself. However, if you’re not comfortable working on your dishwasher, it’s always best to contact a qualified technician.
